Development Plan
Development works at Bright International School – Algarve commenced in 2024 after the acquisition of an existing school. The campus is undergoing a complete renovation in collaboration with the renowned Danish studio Rosan Bosch. This project aims to transform the current facilities and create a unique school within the Algarve’s educational landscape.
Currently, with partial use of the campus, the school welcomes approximately 100 students. The expansion plans will increase capacity to 500 students and ensure a 21st century approach to education.

The expansion of BIS – Algarve includes a complete refurbishment of three buildings, along with the addition of sports areas.

Building 1 | Opened in 2019
Building 1 has been in operation since the school’s inception in 2019 and will serve the Early Years and Primary School in the future.
Lower Secondary
Building 2 | Under Development
Building 2, currently under development, will be dedicated to Lower Secondary and feature a state-of-the-art sports complex.
Primary, Upper Secondary & Advanced
Building 3 | Under Development
Building 3, currently under development, will accommodate Primary, Upper Secondary, and Advanced, and will also serve as the main entrance to the school.

The master plan for Bright International School – Algarve aims to create a bright and joyful learning environment. It includes renovated facilities that support the Sharing Pedagogical Concept, promoting collaboration and innovation.
The design incorporates modern classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, and recreational areas, fostering a holistic approach to education for all students.
